Welcome to PCT2026 Season at The Columbia Hotel!
The Columbia Hotel is setting a new precedent for the support of Pacific Crest Trail backpackers passing through Ashland, Oregon. Our goal is to go out of our way to ensure these intrepid backpackers find a relaxing solace of rest and feel the weariness of the trail melt away on your zero day, replaced by a profound sense of gratitude for the journey they've undertaken. (Hopefully with Ashland's beauty etched in their memories.)
Within walking distance to the Post Office, Ashland Food Co-op, Safeway, Rogue Valley Runners, Mountain Provisions, Restaurants, Bars and Karaoke, The Columbia Hotel is centrally located to replenish supplies and get back on the trail.
From June through October, The Columbia Hotel runs PCT Season: hostel-style bunk beds by the bed, hiker-exclusive pricing, a full suite of trail services, and a lobby full of people who get it.

PCT Accommodations
Our bunk rooms are converted to hostel-style by-the-bed accommodations exclusively for PCT hikers during PCT Season (July – September). These are private bunk rooms are not shared with non-hiker guests. Each room sleeps 4 and features original mural art, Twin XL luxury mattresses, an original porcelain sink, and access to shared private bathrooms and showers just down the hall.
Private king and queen rooms are also available if you want your own space, maybe a real door, a real bed, and a full night of non-snoring silence.

PCT Shuttle to & from Ashland
We care about the safety of our PCT guests and so we created a dedicated shuttle in collaboration with Ashland MTN Adventures and The City of Ashland to make your journey into Ashland more convenient and stress-free and to avoid hitching along the busy I5 highway.
Bunk Beds by The Day
Available for PCT hikers only, our Bunk Rooms and Premium Bunk Rooms offer space to spread out and relax on your Zero Days. This hostel style accommodation is only available for PCT Hikers with a valid trail permit. Room stay includes laundry and services.
Location
The Columbia Hotel is at 262½ E Main Street in downtown Ashland — walking distance to every grocery store, restaurant, gear shop, and bar you'll need on a zero day. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival is steps away. Lithia Park is a short walk. You won't need a rideshare to reach anything in town.
Booking Your PCT Stay
PCT Season runs July through September. Bunk beds book up fast during peak NOBO season (typically late July and August). Call ahead or email to let us know you're coming and your estimated arrival date. Walk-ins are welcome when space is available.
