Position: Hotel Housekeeper
Location: Ashland Oregon
Reports to: Housekeeping Manager/Front Desk Agent
Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Job Overview:
As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and other designated areas of the hotel. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing a spotless environment will contribute to an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Room Cleaning: Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, bunk beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and floors. Replenish towels and toiletries as needed.
Public Areas: Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and lounges.
Linen Handling: Collect, sort, and distribute linens to and from guest rooms and the laundry area.
Inventory Management: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and linens. Report low inventory levels to the Housekeeping Manager.
Guest Interaction: Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
Safety and Security: Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
Special Projects: Assist with special cleaning projects, such as deep cleaning and seasonal tasks, as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

Qualifications:
Experience: Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Skills: Attention to detail, time management, and strong communication skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks such as bending and kneeling.
Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Descripción del puesto:
Como persona de limpieza, serás responsable de mantener la limpieza y presentación de las habitaciones de huéspedes, áreas comunes y otras áreas designadas del hotel. Responsabilidades principales:
Limpieza de habitaciones
Limpiar y preparar habitaciones, incluyendo hacer camas y literas, quitar el polvo, aspirar y reponer suministros.
Limpieza de baños
Limpiar y desinfectar baños, incluyendo lavabos, inodoros, duchas y pisos.
Reponer toallas y artículos de tocador según sea necesario.
Áreas comunes
Mantener limpias las áreas comunes, incluyendo el lobby, los pasillos y los salones.
Ropa de cama
Recoger, clasificar y distribuir la ropa de cama hacia y desde las habitaciones y el área de lavandería.
Inventario
Controlar y reponer suministros de limpieza, artículos de tocador y ropa de cama.
Informar al gerente de limpieza cuando el inventario esté bajo.
Atención al huésped
Responder a las solicitudes e inquietudes de los huéspedes de manera amable y profesional.
Seguridad
Seguir todos los procedimientos de seguridad para garantizar el bienestar de los huéspedes y el personal.
Proyectos especiales
Apoyar en proyectos especiales de limpieza, como limpieza profunda y tareas estacionales, según lo asigne el gerente.

Requisitos:
Experiencia previa en limpieza de hotel es una ventaja, pero no es obligatoria — se brinda capacitación completa.
Atención al detalle, manejo del tiempo y buenas habilidades de comunicación.
Capacidad para levantar y mover hasta 11 kg, permanecer de pie por períodos prolongados y realizar tareas repetitivas como agacharse y arrodillarse.
Persona confiable, puntual y capaz de trabajar de manera independiente o en equipo.
