Meet the Artists

  • A man with gray hair and beard wearing a navy blue t-shirt, headphones, and mustard-colored pants, is painting a large abstract black line art mural on a white wall.

    David Lind

    Acrylic

DK Lind is a seasoned artist from Oregon's vibrant 'I can do this too' art scene (Who doesn’t like a handmade pickle?) His work, he happily concedes, is the rubble of his own existential battle between what he’s allowed to express and his unspeakable and unconscious passions.

  • A person with short blond hair and patterned glasses resting their chin on their hand, showing a tattooed arm and wearing a bandana around their neck inside a room with colorful artwork on the walls.

    Thistle & Ink

    Mix Media

Thistle & Ink is a Southern Oregon based Tattoo and Mixed-media artist. Their collage art is organized chaos. Let it take you on a journey from scene to scene, keep an eye out for the little Easter eggs of detail and maybe it will make you feel something. Wonder, Anger, Disinterest, Compassion or Joy.

  • A man wearing glasses and a black t-shirt sitting in front of a tall, vertical gray and white artwork with intricate, surreal patterns, next to a wooden shelf filled with vinyl records and a stereo system.

    Tarik Ragab

    Acrylic on Canvas

Tarik Ali Ragab, also known as TAR, is an artist and musician. His unique visual art takes the viewer to a dream-like world with cascading colors and surreal creatures, fusing style elements of Lowbrow, Street Art, Pop Culture, and Surrealism

  • A smiling person with short, dark-platinum hair and a septum piercing, wearing a leopard print shirt and earrings, in a room with shelves and various items, including a rainbow Pride tote bag.

    Jaxxton Botello

    Digital Art

Hello my name is Jaxxton, 23, (all pronouns) I am an art activist here to show that art can help make the world a better place, to make people accepted. To feel loved.

  • Smiling young man with shoulder-length dark hair, wearing a black T-shirt and a pendant necklace, standing in front of a colorful, decorated background.

    Anthony Heinz

Anthony Heinz is a multi-media artist from Santa Cruz California. He moved to Ashland in 2017 to pursue the arts. This series of paintings is meant to celebrate trans identities. Clownfish are hermaphrodites and butterflies transform. Despite their biological differences, these animals look beautiful together. Anthony is an advocate and supporter of the drag community. You can see more at the Ashland Artisan Emporium booth 276 and you can follow @heinzcraft on Instagram.
